Mr. Earl Funeral Information:
The memorial service for Joe will be Sunday, July 31st at 7pm, Grace
United Methodist Church, 1625 N. Lincoln St., Stockton, California. In
lieu of flowers, kindly send contributions to the Delta College
(Stockton, CA) Music Scholarship Fund or to the Stockton Symphony in
his memory. Instrumentalists are encouraged to bring their instrument
and a music stand, to join in on the 3 hymns, including the Wilhousky
arrangement of Vaughan-Williams Sine Nomine. I cant think of a better
tribute to Joe and his love of music, both choral and instrumental.
Thank you all for your kind remembrances of Joe and messages of
condolence. This has been very difficult for me, as it was so sudden
and we were just beginning to live life after teaching retirement.
Fortunately, my family has been ever-present and of great comfort. I
hope to see you at the service; please bring your happy memories.
